SHR 04 The Cavalcade - Many Moons

Ini dia duo asal North west England yang terbentuk tahun 2009 yang menarik perhatian saya dengan musik twee pop khas sarah records, mereka adalah Craig Phillips - Guitar / Vocal dan Stephen Birtchnell - Guitar / Keyboards yang menamakan band ini The Cavalcade. Pertama merelease EP meet you in the rain bulan  May 2009  kemudian pada akhir tahun 2009 mereka bergabung dengan pebble records sebuah label yang juga berasal dari UK, bersama Pebble mereka merelease album bertitel "Many Moons"  yang langsung menarik perhatian indiepop lovers di seluruh dunia mungkin ini bisa dikatakan sebagai kerinduan indiepop lovers akan band band twee releasan Sarah Records. Setelah direlease Pebble Recs, beberapa label dari negara lain ikut merelease album ini yaitu happy prince recs(japan), Universal (phil) dan akhirnya di Indonesia di release oleh Shiny Happy Records. this is absolutely  for the fans of Blueboy, the field mice, brighter. SHR 03 Warm Morning - Too Far From the Stars

Ketika saya menanyakan bagaimana kalian mendeskripsikan musik kalian, Simone salah satu dari duo group asal Piacenza, Italy ini mengatakan : "Our music could be defined as a big soft pillow when you're really tired of the chaos of this noisy world" . deskripsi yang menarik yang membuat kita penasaran untuk mendengarkan seperti apa musik dari Warm morning ini.  Warm Morning terdiri dari 2 orang kakak beradik yaitu Simone and Andrea yang memainkan musik mainly based on acoustic sounds, mereka terinspirasi dari Folk musik tahun 60an. Setelah merelease 2 EP yaitu Warm Morning 212" (2003) dan  "Slow-motion Picture" (2004). Pada bulan agustus 2005 mereka mulai menggarap album "Silver Rain" yang direlease oleh legendary indiepop label called Shelflife records. Pada album ini mereka benar benar mengexplore dan bereksperimen dengan apa yang ditawarkan studio rekaman mereka. "Our purpose is to play music, in a spontaneous and natural way, to pass some moments away from  reality, flying far with our imagination, cradled by a pleasant Warm Morning sound." Album Too Far From the Stars yang merupakan tribute untuk 70's musik akhirnya di release di Indonesia oleh Shiny Happy records dimana pada album ini mereka terinspirasi oleh musisi seperti Roger Nichols, Paul Williams, Burt Bacharach, Henry Mancini, The Carpenters, Carol King . ini yang mereka katakan tentang album too far from the stars: ''It is a collage of everyday short stories, stories about characters who share a continual search for some specific thing, or for some person who is always far from them. They are characters trying to shake off the weight of their everyday problems, aiming to reach, one day, to the stars, who are presenting their passions and their dreams, even though they always seem so far''.
